Sensors & Instrumentation will see the return of an outstanding exhibitor line up, as well as visitor favourites such as the CPD accredited seminarĀ programme, Innovation Showcase, Micro | Nano | Mems and brand new feature areas for 2017 including the Drone Zone.

With the rapid development of sophisticated technology, amendments to legislation and falling costs, drones are breaking into new sectors – both commercial and industrial.

Many industries can reap the benefits of using unmanned aerial vehicles and Sensors & Instrumentation will take visitors to the heart of the action with the debut of the dedicated Drone Zone feature area.

The Drone Zone will explore the real life applications that are possible through presentations from individuals and organisations selected for their expertise in drone technology and industrial applications. Key issues will also be addressed such as the obstacles that will need to be overcome in order for this technology to be implemented.

This exciting feature area will also give visitors the opportunity to witness first hand the agility of drones during technical flight demonstrations, and the chance to put themselves in the pilot seat through a virtual reality headset.
